Reiki Code of Ethics for Animal
Spirits
I observe the Reiki Principles in my practice and in my
daily life.
The Reiki Principles are:
Just For Today, Do Not Worry
Just For Today, Do Not Anger
Honor Your Parents, Teachers and Elders
Earn Your Living Honestly
Show Gratitude for Everything |
I respect the privacy of both my animal clients and
their human caretakers.
I respect and honor the animals as my equals in the
healing process, they are active participants in the
healing journey and as such, are also my guides.
Animals possess physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual bodies. In that regard, their healing process
is the same as human healings. Animals can experience
the same profound healings that humans do. I release all
expectations and accept the outcome of each animal's
Reiki session without judgment.
I honor all disciplines of animal healing, both licensed
conventional veterinarians and licensed veterinarians
who practice holistic modalities. I also honor and
respect all other forms of healing modalities, both
conventional and alternative. I consider myself to be a
partner in the broad community of animal health and
healing.
I allow myself to be guided by my intuitive wisdom,
knowing that we are partners with the animal kingdom and
we are all One in spirit.
I will educate the humans who share their lives with
their animal companions about the benefits of Reiki
healing and also share with them any intuitive messages
I receive during the healing process.
I will never diagnose or prescribe. Nor will I ever
suggest that the client change prescribed treatment or
interfere with the treatment of a licensed veterinarian.
I educate clients on the value of Reiki for their animal
companions and explain that sessions do not guarantee a
cure. Neither are they a substitute for qualified
professional veterinary care. Reiki is one part of an
integrative healing and wellness program.
